Building a PV System for Market Entry
How PVCON helped a biotech company establish the pharmacovigilance structure, documentation and governance needed to support launch.
The Product Was Moving Toward Launch. The PV System Was Not Yet Ready.
A biotech company preparing for market entry had reached a critical stage in its launch programme.
The commercial and regulatory pathway was progressing, but the pharmacovigilance infrastructure required to support post-market responsibilities was still incomplete.
Core SOPs had not yet been fully established. Roles and governance needed definition. PSMF documentation required development, and supporting controls around training, agreements, deviations and CAPAs were not yet operating as one connected system.
The challenge was therefore larger than producing a set of documents.
The company needed a working PV Quality Management System that could support day-to-day operations, define accountability and provide evidence that pharmacovigilance responsibilities were under control before launch.

Building the PV Foundation Around How the Company Would Operate
PVCON developed the pharmacovigilance QMS as an integrated operating framework rather than as a collection of standalone documents.
The engagement covered the development and implementation of SOPs, governance structures, PSMF documentation, training materials, safety agreements, deviation management and CAPA processes.
Roles and responsibilities were defined so that key PV activities had clear ownership.
